For the past 20 years PCC has not had a men’s volleyball team. There has been a group of students who have started the Men’s Volleyball Club in order to change that.
The Lancers were defeated by the Long Beach Vikings in a home game at the PCC Aquatic Center this past Wednesday. PCC scored their first and only goal during the final quarter, ending the game with a score of 15-1.
On Saturday the Lancers proved that they’re a new and improved team while going up against Glendale Community College by gaining over 500 total yards on offense and the defense continuing their dominance, in a 35-7 victory.

The Lancers raced at a steady pace competing against 4-year universities at the Biola Invitational Saturday morning at Craig Regional Park in Fullerton. The women’s cross country team placed 21st overall out of 22 teams, and the men’s team placed 15th out of 18 teams. A mob of red and gold jerseys stormed Mt. San Jacinto’s half of the field, unleashing a flurry of passes leading to the first of many points for the Lancers. Although the Lancers had a slow and steady start, only able to score one point in the first half, the second half erupted when various PCC attackers scored seven points in rapid succession.
On Saturday, the Lancers traveled to College of the Desert to kick off their 2019 season in which their defense held the Roadrunners to negative rushing yards for the entire game and sacked the quarterback 9 times helping the Lancers to win 22-13.
