The Lancer football team got absolutely decimated in a 65-14 home loss to Cerritos College on Saturday in what was literally the worst loss in the 13 year history of Robinson Stadium. PCC remains winless for the season, and hasn’t won a game since Oct. 15 of last year.
Women’s soccer Squeak by Vikings
It was hot in Long Beach, with the thermometer reading 100 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Too hot for October, and both Pasadena and the Long Beach City College Vikings seemed to feel the heat in a slow 1-0 win for the Lancers.
Men’s Soccer Falls to East Los Angeles College
The referee held a yellow card high in the air, but it quickly disappeared and was replaced by red. Tempers, and the referee, were the abiding story of the first half, as the Lancers visited the East Los Angeles College Huskies on Sept. 28, where they lost 0-3, and now have a conference record of 1-0-1.

Mens soccer wins first conference game
Following a string of losses in non-conference the Lancers walked away with a 2-1 win against the El Camino College Warriors at Robinson Stadium on Tuesday.
Women’s soccer fights it out for a win
The women’s soccer team pulled off an impressive win Friday against Los Angeles Valley College after a strong and aggressive offensive game, staying strong even until the end with a final score of 5-1.
Men’s soccer falls to the Roadrunners in last pre-season game
After quickly going two goals down, the Lancer men’s soccer team rallied back, striking two goals to level the score by the end of the first half. But in the second half the Rio Hondo Roadrunners scored two more unanswered goals, to beat the Lancers 2-4 in their last pre-season game at Rio Hondo on Sept. 20.
Men’s soccer fails to get on the scoreboard
The Lancers were unable to capitalize on their multitude of scoring chances in a 1-0 loss to the College of the Desert Roadrunners at Robinson Stadium on Saturday. Other than the late game controversy involving the Roadrunners’ coach, the game was in PCC’s hands, but they failed to turn their solid play into a positive result.
Football team gets hammered in 3rd loss
The Saturday night lights were on at Robinson Stadium and the crowd was cheering as Quarterback Justin Posthuma returned from his injury, but unlike the lights, the Lancers were unable to shine. The El Camino College Warrior sliced through PCC with a winning score of 46-27 on Saturday.
Water polo falls short, despite last minute push
The women’s water polo team lost to Long Beach City College on Sept. 12 at the Aquatic Center. Despite a well played game, the Lancers went down 6-7.
