PCC extends excused withdrawals and refunds deadline

Share: After the Chancellor’s Office temporarily suspended student withdrawal regulations due to the global pandemic, PCC students can now drop classes through excused withdrawals (EW) and have their enrollment fees refunded through June 14, according to the campus website. Prior to the novel coronavirus shutting down campus life, students only had until the second week of the semester to drop with a refund. Holiday Angels celebration grants wishes to children of students

Share: Associated Students (AS) is giving back to children of student parents this holiday season through their Holiday Angels benefit. The Holiday Angels tree, located in the Office of Student Life, boasts 100 cards with wishes on them from the children of students in PCC’s EOP&S, CALWORKS and PASS programs. There are three gift wishes on each card, along with the child’s first name, age and gender. All wishes are items between $10 and $25. Taking the ‘W’: Why students choose to pull out and withdraw

Share: Students line up in a crooked manner, one by one, waiting for their questions to be answered. Some choose to sit down on the connected seats, waiting for their name to be called; while the seats remain filled, others opt to stand near the wall and use their smartphones to kill time. Multiple counselors walk out the door, either engaging in a friendly chatter with colleagues or welcoming the students inside what remains of their encounter. Follow:
