An exhibit of student art entitled “Lowered Expectations,” in which the art pieces were anything but, opened at the PCC art gallery on Thursday. It includes installations that one would be able to find in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. The exhibit continues until July 18.

The Board of Trustees was greeted with a crowd of students and faculty protesting the budget cuts after its closed session at its most recent meeting.
AS application deadline extended
The Selection Committee appointed by the Associated Students opted to extend its application deadline for students to apply for two currently vacant seats. The deadline moved from July 17 to July 23 by 4 p.m. The two unoccupied positions are the Vice President for Internal Affairs and the Vice President for Cultural Diversity.
PCC president remains on leave
PCC President Paulette Perfumo remains on an indeterminate personal leave of absence she requested two weeks ago.
