California schools shouldn’t reopen at the risk of spiking COVID-19 cases

Share: While reopening schools may seem appealing to parents and students, cases are still rising all over the state and are predicted to worsen with the upcoming holiday season. Almost all Southern California counties have already announced that the Spring semester of 2021 will remain online, including PCC. As of right now, this is the best route California can take in order to contain the virus and decrease cases. Follow:

Share: It’s the 50th anniversary of Dinner in the Park, a community Thanksgiving event that normally feeds hundreds of people outdoors at Pasadena’s Central Park in Old Town. PCC men’s soccer team practices despite COVID

Share: The PCC men’s soccer team have been practicing every Tuesday since the beginning of Aug. between 8 a.m and 10 a.m. to prepare for the 2021 Spring season. Without the assistance of their coaches, the student-athletes took it upon themselves to run their own practices even though there are 18,641 COVID-19 cases and 146 deaths in Los Angeles County in the month of Nov., according to Los Angeles Public Health.
