Pasadena Gobbler event seeks to feed 300 local families for Thanksgiving

The 38th annual Operation Gobbler fundraiser and food drive will feed hundreds of people in Pasadena this Thanksgiving.  The Pasadena Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) and Friends in Deed on Sunday, Nov. 20, offering free thanksgiving themed meals to Pasadena locals. With Thanksgiving weekend upon us, the California Department of Public Health announced a new set of regulations and necessary precautions for people to follow, as Covid-19 cases have doubled in California in the last two weeks. It’s the 50th anniversary of Dinner in the Park, a community Thanksgiving event that normally feeds hundreds of people outdoors at Pasadena’s Central Park in Old Town.
