PCC’s swim teams came out strong at their meet against the Chaffey Panthers last Friday, placing first in the first eight events. In total, there were 27 events, and collectively both teams dominated in a total of 23 events–12 wins for the womens’ team and 11 wins for the mens’ team.
Jocelyn Jo: Student-athlete smokes the competition
Jocelyn Jo is underwater. She is swimming as fast as she can, her arms positioned in a glacial-like state, pushing towards the waves of the blue, crystalline swimming pool. As each movement is made, she exhales accordingly to catch her breath and continue forward, often towards victory.

The Lancers once again proved their strength during the SCC double dual against El Camino and Long Beach that took place right at PCC’s Aquatic Center.

Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC) ended Pasadena women’s swimming 18 dual meet win streak, beating Pasadena 138-136 at the aquatics center Friday afternoon.
