Overflowing with services aces, stuff blocks, and solid passing the Lancers had a blast in their dominating victory over the Cerritos Falcons on Wednesday evening at PCC. The Lancers maintained an unbreakable wall, demonic serve angles, and a reliable left side which produced the perfect mix of defense and offense. The Lancers went into this game less stressed and ready to have fun making it easy for them to take the match 3-0.
Women’s Volleyball took a whacking against the Moorpark Raiders Wednesday night but kept on attacking, and prevailed against the Citrus College Owls and the Antelope Valley Marauders on the same day and on the same court, Friday afternoon.
Lancers volleyball beat Chaffey College in four sets on Wednesday, their fifth win in a row and their second win of the South Coast Conference North Division.
UPDATE: The Lancers earned the number 17 seed in the Southern California Regional Playoffs. They took part in a play-in round match on Saturday Nov. 21st but were defeated by long-standing rival and 16th seed Mt. San Antonio, 25-15, 25-23 and 25-19.
The women’s volleyball team finally broke a four-game losing streak, but more importantly their win in straight sets over LA Trade tech enabled sophomore’s Megan Williams and Sabrina Takeuchi to taste victory in their final home game in a Lancers uniform
