Lancers blow Panthers out of the water

Share: PCC’s swim teams came out strong at their meet against the Chaffey Panthers last Friday, placing first in the first eight events. In total, there were 27 events, and collectively both teams dominated in a total of 23 events–12 wins for the womens’ team and 11 wins for the mens’ team. Follow:

Sophomore swimmer eyes state championship

Sophomore swimmer Mohammad Esmaeilian is no stranger to adversity or hard work. With an impressive 2014 season that saw the determined swimmer qualify for the 2014 State Championships in his rearview, the Lancers’ 2015 captain and rocket in the water has his eyes set on another State Championship appearance.

Lancers outswim rivals in conference opener

Women’s swimming came out on top against rival Mt. San Antonio College and Cerritos College in a double dual, scoring 157-117 and 175-96 respectively in the first round of South Coast Conference games on Friday at the Aquatic Center.
