Joe Osorio is a man that is “going with the flow of life.” He hails from Ridgecrest in California’s High Desert. He played baseball for Burroughs High School and is taking some time off from sports to focus on his education, but hopes to return to baseball as either a professional player or a coach and is majoring in communications.
Lancers’ Lives: Siblings who stick together, slay together
Christian and Kennedy Crumbles have been living in Pasadena while going to PCC for over a year and a half. Christian was 17 when he registered for PCC, while Kennedy started at ELAC when she was 16, and transferred to PCC last year. The siblings not only take the same interest in biology but also hiking, adventuring. Christian is also making music while Kennedy is modeling on the side.

Jacob Ahumada is a music major who enjoys reading Haruki Murakami, Aldous Huxley, and is studying German to read Nietzsche in its original form. He loves playing Bach and was reading The Brothers Karamazov under a tree when I caught up with him and asked if he plans to make music his career.

Rafael Marcial is a 26-year-old student at PCC double-majoring in business and social work. He is currently working at the Los Angeles DCFS as an Intermediate Unit clerk.
