Lancers exact revenge, keep bowl dreams alive

Quarterback Kade Wentz faked the handoff to Miles Anderson, took three steps back, and threw a deep rainbow to Wheeler Smith. With nobody in front of him, Smith pranced from one hash to the other avoiding the last two Grossmont Griffin defenders for the touchdown. Parking lot laurels lift Lancers to victory

The Lancers football team needed an emphatic stop Saturday night on third down, leading Citrus College Owls 23-20 with 56 seconds left in the fourth quarter.
