New deal lets PCC students skip undergrad, go straight to pharmacy doctoral program
Share: On September 22, 2025, Pasadena City College announced the Transfer Admission Guarantee agreement it made with Keck Graduate Institute (KGI) into their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program. This agreement with KGI differs from other PharmD programs since students don’t have to transfer to a bachelor’s degree program before transferring into their program. This means students will get into the field two years faster than those transferring in from a four-year university. Share: It has been 42 days since the government shut down on October 1, 2025 because Congress did not pass a budget for the new fiscal year. A government shutdown, however, means many federal programs are paused or diminished and hundreds of thousands of federal workers can be laid off. Applications open for aspiring geology students to dive into marine science
Share: A new opportunity named “PCC Summer Ocean Science Research Program” is being initiated by the college’s STEM department, using the $500,000 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF).
