Instructor Hugo Schwyzer is at risk of being fired by the college after publicly admitting to having sexual relations with his students as recently as 2011, according to a District statement.

Schwyzer is known for bringing adult film stars such as James Deen and Jessica Drake to speak in his “Navigating Pornography” course, for which he received national attention.

“Such conduct, if confirmed as true, would be a grave violation of college policy warranting termination,” the statement written by General Counsel Gail Cooper reads.

According to the District’s policy no. 6022, “consensual relationships between members of the College community are inappropriate if one individual has power or authority over another,” such as relationships between students and instructors.

Schwyzer voluntarily left the college earlier this summer after sexting messages between him and amateur adult film star Christina Parreira were made public in early August.

Robert Bell, senior vice president of student services, explained at the time Schwyzer left that the professor hadn’t violated any district policy by having a relationship with a person outside of the district.

According to Schwyzer’s most recent post on his blog, he admits the claims of having sex with his students are true.

“Until recently, I maintained that I had stopped having sex with students enrolled in my classes in 1998. That is not true; I started sleeping with students again in 2008,” he said. “I will convey this information to the college, and I expect this will be a factor in discussions about my future as an history instructor.”

The District is still investigating Schwyzer’s claims.

“All of us in the college are outraged by Mr. Schwyzer’s statements about his conduct,” the statement reads. “The college is acting swiftly to conduct an investigation and to hold Mr. Schwyzer accountable for his actions while an employee.”

  1. You have got to be kidding! According to the District’s policy no. 6022, “consensual relationships between members of the College community are inappropriate if one individual has power or authority over another,” According to Gail Cooper. Is this the same woman everyone on campus, (and I mean everyone) refers to as “sexual harasser” or “Gail Cougar.” One thing is for sure, Schwyzer and Swil or anyone else for that matter, only need to have their lawyers argue disparate treatment and they will have no difficulty getting their jobs back. This place runs on a “do as I say, not as I do” mentality.
I long for the good ol’ days of Perfumo!

  2. I want nothing more than to see this shart stain of a professor tossed out the front doors of the C building on his a$$ and gone from PCC for good. His actions and ongoing shenanigans have tarnished a proud and reputable institution. Given that, the administration must investigate and act with the utmost of diligence and caution. The douche bag has tenure, and he’s clearly a legitimate mental case. To finally see this parasite fired, only to turn around and be successful in litigation (or settlement) against the college for wrongful termination, would be an epic travesty. I don’t want my tax dollars funding his post-academia perverse and predatory endeavors.

  3. This looks more like the campus lawyer and VP are bored, need to look busy. And the discredited administration wants to make a fuss over something –anything– to try to appear competent.

    1. You are right this is something that the administration will use as a distraction from their own failings, and as confirmation of the board’s claims that the PCC faculty are selfish. But Schwyzer’s bad behavior can’t be blamed on Rocha and the gang: having sex with multiple students who are currently enrolled in his classes is a clear violation of professional ethics, as well as campus policy.

      1. PCC’s admin has been screwing thousands of students since Spring of 2012, in clear violation of professional ethics and the state Education Code. That’s not simply bad behavior, it’s proven, repeated breaking of California law. When will Pres. R. be removed?
