CSU Los Angeles’ Luckman Theatre, a media partner with KPCC, will be offering PCC students discounted tickets for the performance of Ahn Trio at 8 p.m. on June 4. The offer is the last in a series of $20 discounts on three performances at the theater.
“Luckman Fine Arts Complex believes that everyone should be able to enjoy and experience culturally enriching music, film and art,” said public relations coordinator for Luckman Theatre Cori Salinas. “The Luckman encourages students on a tight budget to enjoy both domestic and international artists that are presented at the Luckman Theatre.”
“PCC students will be able to enjoy international music and art for a smaller cost,” said Salinas. “They can enjoy their favorite artist and be exposed to new talent and genres as well.”
Ahn Trio consists of three Korean-American sisters and is a classical piano trio. All three sisters were born in Seoul, Korea and educated at Julliard.
“The Ahn Trio constantly redefines the art and architecture of chamber music,” according to the Luckman’s website.
In order to get the $35 tickets for $15, students must call the Luckman Box Office at (323)343-6600 and mention “PCC” to reserve at the discount. Tickets for Ahn Trio are to be picked up at will-call the night of the event.
