University Day at PCC will be held on Monday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The quad will have tents lined up with a different university representative at each one. This is the chance PCC students have to look deeper into where they want to continue if PCC is their first step on the road to success.

Dina Chase, Outreach Degree/Transfer Director said in an email that “Transferring has never been easier as PCC gets nearly 600 visits annually by representatives from public and private colleges and universities”.

“Transfer information fairs such as University Day give students an opportunity to meet with college and university admissions staff and department representatives on campus to discuss admission and program requirements, financial aid, and housing,” said Chase

PCC is consistently a top leader in transferring students to the California State Universities, Universities of California and independent systems. Its transfer rate is twice California’s average for community colleges according to studies conducted by the California Postsecondary Education Commission that Chase provided.

If students miss their chance at University Day, University Night will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the quad.
