Volleyball aces transfer to four-year schools
As the semester comes to a close, three of our women’s volleyball players will be transferring to four-year colleges this fall where they’ll be continuing their volleyball careers.
Goodbye PCC, hello four-year
For a lot of students at community college, their goal is to graduate, obtain an AA or move on to a four year university. They spend their entire time gaining enough credits, maintaining a high GPA, and trying to do it all as soon as possible.
Acupuncture: A jab well done
It was my worst fear times 10. I’ve never been a fan of blood work, vaccines or any other procedure having to deal with needles. But here I was, waiting in the lobby of Acupuncture Avenue. My fingers were dancing on my lap and I couldn’t quite get comfortable on the couch. There was an unfamiliar smell in the air; turns out it was incense. I could feel the anxiousness taking over my body. I was so nervous to think that there would soon be …
Afters, after class or any other time

Go ga-ga for ‘Boss Baby’
“Where do babies come from?” is a question frequently asked by children. Dreamworks’ new movie “Boss Baby” was released in theatres on March 31st, and it answers the questions for kids, but with a twist.
Hidden gem in plain sight
What I love most about Pasadena is you can walk on the boulevard of Colorado and still find new gems every weekend. There’s somehow always a clothing store, bookstore, or cafe you might have overlooked last time you were there.
