PCC swimming team placed third at the South Coast Conference

Share: The last swimming competition at Mount San Antonio College on Thursday was quite a success for the swim teams at PCC. Carmen Ung, the fastest swimmer on the women’s team, won three awards in all three events she participated in at the South Coast Conference (SCC) Championships, taking gold in the 50-yard freestyle and 100 breaststroke, and although the men’s team didn’t win any events, they placed third. Lancers defeat Owls, advance to Super Regionals

Share: The Lancers triumphed over Citrus College in its SoCal Regional Play-In Round game, 3-1, advancing to play in the first round the Super Regionals. The Lancers scored all of their runs in the first inning. Two singles and a sacrifice bunt from shortstop Ryan Lewis put runners on second and third. Associated Students hosts Earth Day movie night

Share: On April 25, the Associated Students Student Services (ASSS) showed “The True Cost,” a documentary released in 2015 that uncovers the underbelly of fast fashion, a term used to describe inexpensive clothing being mass produced and how it affects the Earth. The film was screened in the Wi-Fi lounge and the Associated Students provided free snacks and drinks for all, as well as necessities for the homeless. Follow:
