A major catalyst for a new wave of societal beliefs in our world was Jackie Robinson, who was honored at PCC’s Westerbeck Recital Hall this past Sunday, Sept. 29. History instructor brings hands-on approach to classroom
A history professor’s job is to make sure their students learn important events, the dates of those events and the people involved. With the instructors usually giving vivid and passionate descriptions to help students better understand the curriculum, history professor Edgar Pacas does one better and shows his students.
History and fashion come together at PCC
High above campus in the fourth floor of the R building sits the fashion classroom. Lines of sewing machines, ironing boards, and designing tables are everywhere. Mannequins are scattered across the room, some wearing dresses and some sitting bare in a closet in the back. Pieces of fabric are scattered on tables and counters.
