Monday, Dec. 26

A homeless woman was stuck inside the northwest elevator in Lot 5. The fire department responded and freed the woman from the elevator.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

Facilities reported a homeless person in the women’s restroom on the fourth floor of the R building. The suspect was gone upon arrival.

Officers responded to two homeless people in Lot 5, level 2. Both complied when officers asked them to leave.

Thursday, Dec. 29

Officers responded again to the 2 homeless people from Lot 5. Officers escorted the two from campus.

Friday, Dec. 30

A homeless person caused a disturbance at the In N Out Burger truck in Lot 6. The person left prior to an officer’s arrival.

An officer escorted a homeless person to their belongings near the elevator at the IT building and asked them to leave. The homeless person complied.

Saturday, Dec. 31

A heater, extension cords and lights were reported stolen from the ticket booth at the Stadium.

A woman reported feeling faint at the Stadium. Paramedics treated her at the scene.

A woman slipped and fell south of the IT building. Paramedics transported her to the hospital.

An officer responded to a report of a homeless person west of the Child Development Center. The officer advised them to leave and the person complied.

Sunday, Jan. 1

A man used the Lot 1 callbox and reported feeling suicidal. Officers made contact with the man and he then left campus. Pasadena Police Department advised Campus Police that the same man contacted them later that night, reporting that he felt suicidal. Campus Police made contact with the man again on Harkness Ave. and Colorado Blvd. After talking with officers, the man indicated he no longer felt suicidal.

Monday Jan. 2

A minor traffic collision occurred between two vehicles in Lot 4. No injuries were reported.

Tuesday, Jan. 3

Staff reported a homeless man sleeping on the east side of the CA building. Campus Police escorted him off campus

A hit and run occurred in Lot 4, Level 5 and is under investigation.

Friday, Jan. 6

A homeless man was reported sleeping on the second floor of the C building. Campus Police made contact and escorted him off campus.

Saturday, Jan. 8

A person was reported stuck in an elevator. The Pasadena Fire Department responded and released them.

Campus Police made contact with a group of homeless people outside of Child Development Center and escorted them off campus.

Campus Police made contact with a homeless person sleeping west of the E building and escorted that person off campus.

Tuesday, Jan. 17

A student reported feeling faint inside of the women’s restroom inside the L building. The student reported later that she felt fine and no medical attention was needed.

A homeless person refused to leave the grassy area near the library. Campus Police resolved the issue, and the subject left the area.

Thursday, Jan. 19

A homeless man was reported sleeping inside the elevator of the IT building. Campus Police escorted him off campus.

A woman slipped and fell east of the C building. She refused help from paramedics and requested that a family member pick her up.

Friday, Jan. 20

Two homeless people were reported inside the elevator in the R building. Campus Police arrived on scene and no one was there.

Staff reported a non-student had been checking out books from the Library and attempted to sell them online.

Sunday, Jan. 22

Campus Police escorted a homeless person out of the CEC building.

Monday, Jan. 23

Library staff reported a man was disturbing the peace and refused to leave. Campus police responded and escorted him off campus.

A student reported their cell phone was stolen.

Tuesday, Jan. 24

A staff member reported their vehicle was struck while parked in Lot 4. The situation is under investigation.

A hit and run was reported in Lot 5.

A possible homeless person was reported to be in distress near the D building. Campus Police made contact and the individual was cleared.

Pasadena Police Department requested assistance with two students who were engaged in a verbal confrontation. Campus Police made contact with both individuals and situation was resolved.

Wednesday, Jan. 25

Campus Police escorted a homeless person sleeping west of the E building off campus.

Campus Police escorted a homeless person out of the men’s locker room in the Athletics building.

Thursday, Jan. 26

A homeless man was reported sleeping under a tarp near the southeast ramp to the CA building. Campus Police made contact with the man who was unable to move due to an injury to his back. The paramedics arrived on scene and transported him to Huntington Memorial for treatment.

Friday, Jan. 27

Campus Police responded to a suspicious man who interrupted a class in session. Police did an area check and the suspect was gone

Monday, Jan. 30

A report was taken for a battery that occurred in the L building.

Pasadena Police Department responded to a call from students from Harbeson Hall that a black man was harassing a class with loud outbursts and acting in an aggressive manner. Pasadena Police Department made contact with the subject on Marion/Colorado and advised him to leave the area.

A student athlete injured her ankle during practice. Campus Police made contact with the student and she was escorted to her home.

Tuesday, Jan. 31

A purse was reported stolen from the women’s restroom inside the library.

Wednesday, Feb. 1

Paramedics were called for a 25-year-old Hispanic woman who fell down the stairs adjacent to the bookstore. She was transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Staff reported a black man with a bicycle loitering in the hallway of the W building. He left upon arrival of Campus Police.

Thursday, Feb. 2

First Ability reported one of their students missing from their program. She was located via cellphone after she left the area to another pickup location.

A student reported her cellphone and debit card stolen.

Saturday, Feb. 4

A group of homeless people were escorted off campus from the north side of the D building.

Campus Police responded to reports of two vendors selling gun ammunition at the Flea Market. Campus Police made contact with the vendors and empty shells were being sold.

A vendor reported that his box of money was stolen. The suspect was described as a man in his 20s with short hair, a black shirt and blue jeans. Police searched the area and of Bonnie Ave. and Colorado Blvd.

Monday, Feb. 6

Facilities reported a homeless person sleeping on the south side of the R building. Campus police escorted the person off campus.

A student slipped and fell in the D building and hurt their elbow. No medical assistance was needed.

A student reported their laptop was stolen from the restrooms inside the D building.

Campus Police responded to reports of students causing a disturbance in the CC building lounge. They were gone upon arrival.

Tuesday, Feb. 7

A golf cart was reported stolen from Lot 2. The cart was later recovered.

Library staff reported a man exposing himself inappropriately. Suspect was gone upon arrival.

A fire alarm was triggered in the R building. The area was cleared.

Wednesday, Feb. 8

Facilities reported two people on the 50 -yard line of Robinson Field smoking in the area. Campus police arrived asked them to leave.

A fire alarm was triggered in R-407, there was no fire in the area and the alarm was a possible malfunction.

Thursday, Feb. 9

Staff reported a student who was disrupting class. Campus Police resolved the issue.

Saturday, Feb. 11

A fire alarm was triggered in the IT building. No direct cause is known.

Sunday, Feb. 12

A fire alarm was triggered. The building was cleared.

Monday, Feb. 13

Reports of a suspicious person possibly casing vehicles in Lot 5, level 4.

A fire alarm was triggered in the IT building. The area was cleared.

A bicycle was reported stolen by a student from the west side of the library.

A fire alarm was triggered in the IT building zone 25. The area was checked and cleared.

Wednesday, Feb. 15

A suspicious vehicle was reported traveling in Lots 4 and 5. Campus police made contact with the vehicle and advised them to leave campus.

A student reported their bicycle was stolen from the south side of the L building.

A homeless person was reported challenging pedestrians to fight near the mirror pools. Campus Police made contact and escorted him off campus.

Staff reported a department issued laptop was either lost or stolen.

Paramedics responded to a student who had an allergic reaction. The student was injected with an epinephrine pen and transported to Huntington Memorial for treatment.

Friday, Feb. 17

A person was found sleeping inside a vehicle in Lot 4, level 4.

Saturday, Feb. 18

Dispatch observed four individuals using a PCC golf cart in Lot 5. Campus Police made contact and released all four.
