George Wood Pigman IV

After less than two full days of deliberating, a Pasadena Superior Court jury found former PCC student George Wood Pigman IV guilty of first degree murder on Monday. Pigman was charged with murdering Eimi Yamada, his once girlfriend.

In May of 2005, Yamada was found in her San Gabriel apartment stabbed and beaten. A pair of salad tongs were found nearby.

Pigman was discovered nearby on a rooftop, pacing and making noises, naked and covered in blood. The police discovered a driver's license and PCC student ID card both belonging to Pigman inside Yamada's apartment.

Pigman sat without moving while the verdict was read.
