The crash happened at 12:56 p.m. between two big rigs, with two people reported injured, one seriously.

The damage caused the shutdown of the Metro Rail Allen Ave. Station, which serves many PCC students.

In response, Metro is offering shuttle service from the Lake Ave. Station to Allen Station, where PCC shuttles normally transport students to and from campus.

The crash also left traffic backed up with CHP advising drivers to take alternate routes.
