I would like to see PCC create a denturist program along with the dental lab program to give people another dental profession option. In California denturist are working under an alternative healthcare law which is an umbrella for self-regulation or professions regulating themselves and there is only one college in the United States that has a denturist program, Bates Technical College, in Tacoma Washington. I'm a licensed Oregon denturist and a student at the U of Wyoming getting working toward my masters in adult education so I can teach others to be denturist. The denturist profession needs more schools. Thank you for your consideration.
